About Melinda
I hold a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Somatic Psychotherapy. Creative and expressive arts, visualization and imagery work, dream interpretation, and somatic explorations are incorporated organically into sessions. I also work extensively with children and individuals with developmental delays and learning differences, both in-home and/or in-office depending on the needs and capacity of the Developmentally Disabled.
I enter into every therapeutic relationship with the intention of co-developing lasting and useful change in the life, self concept, and relational understanding of each individual and family. My approach is centered in the belief that with genuine witnessing and engagement based in sensitive and positive regard, we all have the capacity to examine and modify aspects of our lives and ourselves that we want to be different. It is my honor to support and witness you along your journey.
